Topic:  A letter to the kids in Haiti Earthquake

Tip: Please write a letter to the kids in Haiti now, who survived after Jan 12’s earthquake with at least 60 words. The letter should include the following questions.

 When and where did you know Haiti Earthquake?

How did you feel when you heard the news?

What can people in the world do to help rebuild Haiti?

What are you going to do to help the kids there?

1.       A strong earthquake hit our homeland. I was sad to hear that. The earthquake damaged so many houses that a lot of people lost their families. It also caused more than thirty thousand deaths. My friends and I were focus on you. You might be unhappy because of this sudden accident. But I thought, nothing would hurt you. Difficulties would go away if you were confident enough. Be brave, you will win!

2.       A seriously earthquake hit you. It’s unnecessary for you to fall into sadness forever. We will help you if you are in trouble. We will send you some cloth, some food and we will raise some money for you as well. No matter how difficult you are, please remember not to lose you faith. Haiti Earthquake is frightening, but everything will go away. Don’t be sad. I  has known that many of you became homeless. But we are all you family. Nothing is difficult. To be confident and brave!

Class 3

3.       I knew the news that the Haiti Earthquake happened on the January the twelfth. There are hundreds of people were hurt in the Haiti Earthquake. It is very sad for me to hear the news. And we will take care of you. And the people throughout the world are very kind. Some raised money for the homeless people, others gave the clothes to you . And as a student, we also send some books to you .  we will give all the loves. I think the life without love is the live without sunlight. I hope you in Haiti will be much better.

4.       On January the twelfth, Haiti Earthquake happened. This was a bad news to people all over the world. I was worried about you , my friends. Plenty of people in the world want to help rebuild Haiti . They raise a lot of money, clothes and food. It is necessary for you to have a new place where you may live in. I wish to help you as well. I will send my objects to you who need them.  Love throughout the world arrived in Haiti. We all hope your home will be rebuilt soon.

Class 5

5.       We were playing games with our good friends happily while you were in Haiti on the 12^th of Jan. I felt sad as well as my friends on my way home when I heard this news. Although you are in a pain, you still used to be full of confidence. And you should believe all of people in the world will help you away from the unexpect event. Of course, we will give you a hand to rebuild you home. I am also going to donate many daily needs to you . And in my opinion, you are so fortunate that you are still alive after that. God will protect you from danger, too.

6.       I knew the Earthquake a week ago. My brother make a phone call to me and told me that Haiti Earthquake had happened. At that time, I could imagine how sad you were, how frightened you were. Because I could imagine that when I lost my home, my friends or my parents I lost my life as well. I want to something to help you , but I don’t know how to do . I can donate money, clothes and something helpful , but I can’t comfort you broken heart. Wish you happy and warm again.

7.       To my surprise, an terrible earthquake hit Haiti on Jan. 12. when I heard this news, I felt extremely upset. However, don’t worry, people in the world will help you to rebuild your home by raising some money as possible as they can as well as donating some essential things in your daily life. As a student, I can encourage the kids in Haiti never to give up. You should believe everything will be all right just like our earthquake in Sichuan. Let’s take actions to over the difficulties together.

8.       I was so sorry to hear that the terrible earthquake hit Haiti on Jan. 12. As soon as I heard the news, I opened TV immediately. When I saw many deaths, I felt sad and surprised. People all over the world went there and gave them a big hand. As a students, I will also donate my pocket money and some books . I think we must try our best to help them.  Everything will be all right, believer me!
